Hi, dudette. I’m an American now living in Europe.

This is a prediction and that’s all it should be taken as. Could end up partially right, totally right, or totally wrong.

My article mentions that there will be two different types of agencies/consultancies. So you are right about the ones you mention, but that’s not the only type of agency out there. You can be SURE that I do not run my agency/consultancy that way. I don’t take any project that wants “pretty wireframes” only… or guessing at stuff. If they try to remove research from my proposal, I walk away.

There are already two paths… corporate jobs and agencies that are basically production design jobs. Make stakeholders and clients happy! Design something pretty they will like!

And corporate jobs but more agencies that will be about creating change, really understanding users, customer-centricity, etc.

That’s my prediction!
