Yes, I believe that agencies and consultancies will welcome change agents, but not all of them. We all know the consultancies that are happy to put the cheapest people on the project and sell “the thing we usually sell.” Do lots of workshops, drag out the billable hours, etc.

In my career, the only time I was ever asked to scope a project for the time I needed to do a good job was working at agencies. Multiple agencies allowed me to do that. Corp jobs were like “You have 2 days, get us wireframes.” Ugh.
